Hel

Something I've been working on for practice drawing on the computer! and it's finally done....... although I'll probably figure out something else to do when I've had more practice and end up deciding this isn't good enough.....

Anyway-- This is Hel- one of the three children of Loki and Angrboda. She is variously described as either being a beautiful woman, half of whose body is a decaying corpse- OR ....half pale skin and half blue skin..... which is probably a euphemism for a beautiful woman that was half rotted. So... Yah. That's how I drew her. Hel was cast down by Odin to Niflheim, the shadow realm. Then she became the ruler of all the dead who didn't get to go to Valhalla. Making her super, awesome cool in my mind. ^_____^

I'll get around to drawing her other sibling and parents and such eventually..... If I ever manage to drag myself away from Tyr and Fenrir...
